Howdy, this may be a question for a mod but I was curious what the rules were regarding plugins/extensions/assets that are free to use and/or open source when making our submissions (i.e. asset store plugins). The game should be manageable either way, but some basic plugins that would prevent me from redoing some of that code doesn't seem to be against the rules that I can see and would greatly help speed up our process. Just wanted to check and see before I did anything against the rules

I really had a blast with this game. While it wasn't quite challenging, I still felt a little pressure on some of the later levels. I liked the timer on a classic kind of game, and really liked the way y'all took this!

I'd really appreciate a rating on my game if y'all get a chance! https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-130-lunar/rate/2020903

A really solid game! I think the bartering system is super cool, but given that there is no downside to it I could pretty consistently grab 3-5 heals for 1-5 gold and pretty easily reach over 100hp. I think either ramping difficulty in the waves or adding a downside to bartering could help counteract this. Regardless, a fun concept with the 10 second windows, and an enjoyable time.

I'd really appreciate a rate of my game. It was my first jam, so all feedback both good and bad is awesome: https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-130-lunar/rate/2020903

I really enjoyed this game! The endless scrollers are always fun, and it was a good time trying to beat my high scores. I got to about 65 before I simply couldn't get any further. The art was nice, and all in all it was a solid game. The only thing I would note is that the jumps in speed at 30, 50, etc. are a little abrupt and can catch people off guard if they aren't paying attention to it, and it's really not that large of an issue once you have played it a time or two.

I'd really appreciate a review on my game! This was my first jam, so all feedback and ratings are amazing: https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-130-lunar/rate/2020903

I had a good time with this one! The art was nice, the moving backdrop kept things interesting, and the music reminded me of a lot of classic games I used to play. There was  a little confusion as to what to do from the first room, but once I figured out I needed to keep generators in every room I was in, I was able to really get going through most of the rooms. Maybe having one room the player can start in that is safe so they don't get immediately thrown in could be helpful?

I'd really appreciate a rating on my game as well! It was my first jam ever, so all comments and feedback is awesome: https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-130-lunar/rate/2020903

I thought this was a neat game, and I really enjoyed the concept. I think it could help in the future to add some more screenshots of your game to the page to try and get some more people to try it, because it was pretty worth a play!

I'd really appreciate some comments or a rating on my game! It was my first jam so all feedback is great: https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-130-lunar/rate/2020903

Honestly a super solid game. The navigation was a little tricky to get a hold of, and some implementation of the limitation would have been nice, but overall it was a relaxing experience. With a little bit of sounds and maybe some calm music it has the potential to really be a nice game!

I'd really appreciate it if you had time to check out my game! It was my first jam ever and I would love some advice and ratings: https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-130-lunar/rate/2020903

I really enjoyed this game, and I loved the cute art! (the space chicken is quite snazzy :D)

I'd also really appreciate a rating on my game as it was my first ever jam and I'm curious what people thought about it: https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-130-lunar/rate/2020903

I had a great time with this game! Very simple, but honestly fun. I liked the use of the limitation, and I think it was just a nice chill experience.

I'd love a rating and comment on my game if you get the chance: https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-130-lunar/rate/2020903

(1 edit)

I had a solid time with this game! I think a way to turn down the audio could have been beneficial, but apart from that it was just a nice chill time going around and trying to keep the black hole from eating everything.

I'd appreciate comments and a rating on my game if you get a chance! It was my first jam and I'd love some feedback: https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-130-lunar/rate/2020903

Reviewed and Commented! Overall a super solid first jam! It was my first one as well, so I'd love some comments and ratings! https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-130-lunar/rate/2020903

Took a hot minute to figure out what was going on, but I really enjoyed the overall aesthetic of the game and once I got the hang of it had a pretty solid time. The game was super pretty, and the color scheme and idea behind the game really all worked together.

I do think some things like some visible timers or explanations in game would be beneficial, but overall a super solid first jam! It was my first one as well, so I'd love some comments and ratings! https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-130-lunar/rate/2020903

Overall a really solid concept. At first it was super tricky to try and figure out how to catch even one deer, but once I was able to figure out some of their AI combined with how to actually set decent traps, I had a decent time and was able to pretty consistently succeed. Had a good time with this one!

I'd love a rating and appreciate any feedback you have: https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-130-lunar/rate/2020903

Went ahead and rated and commented on it. I'd love some feedback on mine: https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-130-lunar/rate/2020903

As simple as it was I really enjoyed this take on a classic. Customization was also a nice little addition

Hey y'all! This was my first game jam AND my first ever completed game, so I would absolutely love some feedback and ratings from everyone. Our game is download only, but for anyone that goes through the effort to download it I'll happily play, comment on, and rate yours! Here is our submission: https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-130-lunar/rate/2020903

Solid game! It took me one or two runs to figure out what all the ingredients were in the environment and what to do at the order screen, but after I understood all of that it was very straight forwards and just a nice chill experience

I had a good time with y’all’s game! I’d love for you to play ours: https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-130-lunar/rate/2020903

Fun game, I really like the color blind mode. Fast mode is super tough though, even on easier difficulties

I had a good time with this one, although with how often you respawn and get the explosion, it almost felt hard to lose!

Had a fun time just playing around with this for a solid 20 waves. One thing I noticed is that the run animation plays if you are holding W or S even if the character isn't moving at all, but apart from that small thing I really enjoyed it!

Overall solid game! I'd love to see even more options for unique weapons and attacks, but still quite good for the time window.
